How can a dream come true? Most little girls want to fall in love when they grow up. They fantasize about the perfect guy and hope that someday they will meet him and he will fulfill their fantasy. I certainly was one of those girls who hoped to meet Mr. Perfect, get married, and live happily ever after. When I was a young girl, I wanted to meet the perfect man who would marry me; we would have children and live in a beautiful house. After many years of this not coming true, I did not believe that any man could fulfull this for me.

Everything changed for me on July 4, 2008, when, unbeknownst to me, I met the man who I had been imagining for a very long time. That is the day I met Gianni. We started chatting online that day and we had an instant connection. From the very beginning, he seemed too good to be true, which I told him all the time.

One night, as I was walking my dogs, I had one of those light bulb moments. I realized why I felt that Gianni was too good to be true. It was because he was exactly the guy that I was imagining for all these years. He was everything that I had been dreaming of and more! He was loving, kind, considerate, thoughtful but most of all he treated me with respect. Something that I had never experienced before in my life but that had been in my thoughts for a very long time.

Once I realized that Gianni had made my dream come true, I dubbed him my dream guy. I never thought that this could be possible until I met Gianni and I love telling him. It still amazes me that someone as sweet and caring as Gianni really exists. I don’t fantasize anymore because what Gianni and I have is very real.
