Gianni and Sophie - Their Long Distance Wedding Story
Oct. 14, 2009
Gianni and Sophie [pen names] share many stories about their long distance relationship on other pages of this website. Today, they talk about the events that surround that wonderful day when they placed rings on each other's fingers at a country-style Bed and Breakfast in Pennsylvania.
A long distance marriage would begin that day in August, 2009. They exchanged vows and promises in front of a local Wedding Officiant in the antique-style lobby of the B&B where they would spend their first night together as a newlywed couple. Just a handfull of friends and family drove the distance to share this special ceremony with them.
After sharing intimate moments with each other, these cross-state lovers ate their first meal together as a married couple. They found a nice Casual Dining Spot that neither of them had ever been to. They sat next to each other in a tight booth as they always do at restaurants, and toasted their life-time bond with their favorite wine.
In the morning, they shared the bedroom jacuzzi, ate a delicious breakfast, petted the horses that resided at the B&B, and made their way to Avon-by-the-Sea, New Jersey. There they honeymooned for a few more days to celebrate there commitment to each other.
After Gianni and Sophie met online in July 2008, they began long distance dating between New Jersey and Pennsyvania. Now, ...13 1/2 months later, they had committed themselves to each other for life and eternity. They loved their time together in those few days after their wedding, sharing more jacuzzi baths and showing affection to each other in boundless ways. They walked for hours along the boardwalk and shared romantic dinners each night. Of course they took plenty of pictures to remember their honeymoon and share with friends and family.
Gianni and Sophie continue their long distance relationship to this day. They are married and still live in two different States - three hours away from each other. But they have always been consistent in their relationship. They have visited each other every weekend since the first time they met in person. The longest period of time they have ever been apart is 9 days. Yet, just the few days they are apart each week seem to be an eternity at times. But they knew that the love they found was worth whatever they had to do to acquire it. They hope to be able to spend more days together during the week before the timing is right for Sophie to move to Pennsylvania and they can be together permanently.
