A Love Relationship Begins,

The love relationship that Gianni and I have together started before we even met. I am sure you are asking yourself how this could be possible. The world of dating online was new to me when I joined the Christian dating site where I met Gianni and I had no idea what the implications were of long distance dating.

We started out chatting and developed a unique compatibility. We quickly progressed in our on-line relationship over the first couple of weeks of chatting. I did not even realize how deep of a connection we were making with each other. We seemed to agree about everything, it definitely was too good to be true.

Our relationship went quickly from a friendship level to something deeper. Gianni even made up a word for it - “delk”. It was a combination of the two words “deeply” and “like”. Our favorite sign-off for e-mails to each other was “I delk you”. A wonderful relationship was in the works for sure.

As time went by, I knew that I was in love with Gianni. To me, it was crazy because we had not even met each other yet, but I knew that I loved him. Shortly before we were going to meet each other, Gianni and I were chatting on-line. We were chatting about the usual things when he asked me if I would be his girlfriend. I did not even hesitate because the love connection that we had so far was very strong. I agreed to be his girlfriend before we had even met. It sounds crazy but at the time, it just seemed so natural.

A couple of days later, Gianni couldn't hold it in anymore. He called me and said, "I love you". After a moment of shock - and pleasure that he also felt as I did, I gladly replied the same. We agreed that when we met, we would be meeting as girlfriend/boyfriend and we would already know that we had a love relationship. When we met, we made an even deeper connection with each other. To this day, I am still amazed that we fell in love and started our relationship before we even met.
